BACKGROUND INFORMATIONS: what does our customer really want from us? What are the market expectations? 4. PROBLEMS TO SOLVE: · Entering new markets (foreign markets f.i.) · Attract new customers (new students) · Looking upon a new segment. 5 SCOPE: · (Related to physical objects): Functuonality (of furniture, lamps, etc), Aesthetic design (in a general way), Materials. · We only want a sketch · Constraints (Budget limits?) · Deadline · MAIN POINTS: provide comfort and space. 6) Selection of proposals: On which bases do we choose one particular project? How do we pay the design studio? N.B.: Teacher suggested to create a Business Plan as well… TIP: We can use the Porter model to investigate the treds, competitors and threatens P.S. : These are my notes. I tried to put them in an organic form, so everyone can have a clearer idea on what we are talking about.
